Marie is just getting ready to launch her website, and needed some images to highlight her makeup artistry.  I had so much fun with her and her models doing this shoot - wine, gossip, makeup - might as well have been hanging out with some girlfriends ;-)

mark + meghann tied the knot at Le Kliff, an amazing restaurant that sits, literally, on the edge of a cliff - couldn't ask for a better view!

So I'm going a little out of order here ;-)

I still have to blog the wedding, but I was processing this session today, and just had to share a few.

First off, I've got to give props to Mark for even doing this shoot - he was not feeling well at all (a week in Mexico'll do that to ya!) - but, he didn't want want to let down his lady (or his photographer!), and was such a trooper ;-)  Thanks Mark!  Hope seeing these images make it all worthwhile!

later today we're taking a boat to a private beach to do a trash-the-dress shoot - yay!

I thought I'd take advantage of my 'slow' season by sharing some fun wedding trends I've picked up on.  One of the cutest things i've noticed over the past few years is that more and more couples are incorporating their animal friends into their big day. 

Here's some of my favorites:

First up are Dan and Monica with their adorable pooch Alexus, who joined us for both the wedding and engagement shoot!





Next we have Craig and Melissa
this shot totally cracks me up!  just look at that tongue!

My last wedding of 2008 - and couldn't have asked for a nicer couple to wrap up the year with.  Although, why this California couple chose to wed in November in Michigan is a mystery to me ;-)

Now that my wedding season has wrapped up, i'll be hard at work the next weeks finishing all the editing i've still got left, designing albums, and putting the finishing touches on my fab new space (stay tuned for pics!).

I've been so excited for this wedding, and it did not disappoint!  I've been teasing Alyssa that she had the 'dream team' of wedding vendors:  Amazing Vera Wang dress, Makeup and hair by Luigi Bruni's best, Ryan and the epic motion team on video, Mel Ball and Colors wedding band, Emerald City to make it all look pretty, the gorgeous backdrop of Lovett Hall - and moi, of course ;-)

Alyssa's dress was stunning - I love the organic detailing

her twigs and honey hairpiece was *perfect* - Myra is so talented!!

Just as we were heading back inside this gorgeous little burst of sun peeked out - I LOVE the images we managed to grab before it dipped back behind the clouds!

The ceremony was lovely - Will actually built their Chuppa using wood from the park they met at!
