ashleigh and christopher are such a cool and laid-back couple. i've been looking forward to their wedding all year! the big day came and went last weekend at the Henry Ford Museum, and went off without a hitch ;-)

a few quick vendor shouts:

I started off the day with Ashleigh at the Ritz, for all the "getting ready" action
here's luigi working his magic:

I see a LOT of amazing shoes in my line of work - these are definitely in the top five!!

this flower girl was just the coolest

first look

loved the bouquet and boutonniere - too often I see these giant flower boutonniere's that just don't stay nice - by the time we're ready for pictures, they're practically destroyed! But this looked sharp all day - so, note to future grooms - get a boutonniere that won't wilt or fall apart!!

a few pictures around the garden before their outdoor ceremony at 6PM

so many amazing spots to shoot at the museum - and wouldn't you know it, some of my favorite pictures are made against the wall outside the bathrooms - ha!

love these next two that Tommy captured - really nice behind-the-scenes moments as ashleigh prepared to come down the aisle

Tommy and I couldn't resist poppin' in the museum's photo booth on our way out - I heart photo booths!

tim + michele | married!

i think we all have a girlfriend like michele - gorgeous, smart, and super down-to-earth - the kind of girl you *want* to hate, but just can't cause she's such a sweetheart!

anyhow - michele and tim got married on saturday - and it was such a fun day to be a part of!

I started off the day hanging with michele and her bridesmaids, which was a blast - felt like spending time with my own gal pals!

here's some pretty details:

some fun in the limo...(PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT----don't get a hummer limo for your wedding! It's a proven fact that the air conditioning will not work. seriously!).

good ole sparty (they didn't even hold being a U of M grad against me!!)

their super-fun entrance - loved how they draped the room in red curtain - lent such a dramatic, classy, theatrical feel to their reception!

so fun watching their guestbook get filled up with messages!

LOVE this series:

Michele is a dancing machine!! For real - girl got down to the humpty dance - too cool! Definitely don't hear the humpty dance at enough wedding receptions, IMHO

the rings:

michele's dad even got into the spirit (a little ACDC'll do it every time!!)
