what a great couple, and a great day! Jen and Ken's wedding was just perfect - from the details, to the people, to the amazing weather.

here's some images of the girls getting ready - always one of my favorite parts of a wedding day!

Ken's personality really shines through in this picture ;-)

they were married at holy family in Novi. Ken kept sneaking Jen the cutest looks throughout the ceremony - you can tell how thrilled these two are to be getting married!

I adore this image Tommy snagged while I was shooting a portrait of Jen and her grandma.

and than off to St Johns for some pictures in the gardens before joining their reception

i love this time of year, with all the pretty trees in bloom....

the grand ballroom looked amazing - props to MPE events, who did the flowers and lighting!

I got to work with some rad people at this wedding - the delightful mary ann ross kept the dancefloor moving!

and here's the boys from epic motion doing their thing

ken proposed at the tulip festival in holland last year - so I thought this was fitting for a ring shot ;-)

one of the highlights of the evening was definitely this disco performance one of the groomsmen did - it was hot!

Jen and Ken - what a fantastic day! We had a blast and hope you did, too - enjoy your honeymoon in Italy!

Abby - We just love you and Tommy! The photos are truly amazing! We thought we'd check in real quick before turning in tonight (off to Italy tomorrow!) and were delighted to see your post. Not that we expected anything less - but you truly captured "the moments"!! Especially those moments we didn't even know had taken place - like the picture of my arm around my Grandma while my Grandpa - her husband's rosary was draped in my hand. I would have never expected to see that picture and it just took my breath away. And, of course we could not stop laughing at the pictures of Gibson's "last" dance. will + alyssa | married!

I've been so excited for this wedding, and it did not disappoint! I've been teasing Alyssa that she had the 'dream team' of wedding vendors: Amazing Vera Wang dress, Makeup and hair by Luigi Bruni's best, Ryan and the epic motion team on video, Mel Ball and Colors wedding band, Emerald City to make it all look pretty, the gorgeous backdrop of Lovett Hall - and moi, of course ;-)

Alyssa's dress was stunning - I love the organic detailing

her twigs and honey hairpiece was *perfect* - Myra is so talented!!

Alyssa looked incredible

Just as we were heading back inside this gorgeous little burst of sun peeked out - I LOVE the images we managed to grab before it dipped back behind the clouds!

The ceremony was lovely - Will actually built their Chuppa using wood from the park they met at!

Loved what Emerald City did here - very 'enchanted forest'!
